An Introduction to Rally Racing Betting
The pacesetter among rally cars racing is the World Rally Championship (WRC). WRC has 13 three day events happening all over the world every year.
At the moment, three drivers in the World Rally Championship- Thierry Neuville, Sebastien Ogier, and Ott Tanak-are known to be at the top of their game because of their ability to drive with great speed. But they will not have a smooth ride to the finish line.
World Rally Championship 2017 actually had thirteen different rallies with each having a winner, and only seven out of those winners were not repeat. A lot of these winners were unexpected bookmakers’ favorites.
At SBO, we pride ourselves in having a comprehensive understanding of all the things that can affect a race result.
For instance, the road condition, climate variation and the performance of every car in any of these situations should be factored in before a person bets on rallying. Also, gamblers who are well versed with this game can be able to identify such high value betting opportunities that can enable them to place winning bets.

History of Rally Racing
Despite being one of the oldest forms of racing, not many people know that Rallying existed before it was associated with cars. During the thirties, a lot of people were betting on horse races instead.
Long distance road rallies in the 1950’s marked the beginning of rally racing. Additionally, a few British roads did not stop RAC rallies from gaining popularity in 1951. In Dakar, Senegal in 1979, a man named Thierry Sabine started something that would be remembered for years to come when he came up with the first “rally raid” from Paris to Dakar which is now referred to as The Dakar Rally.
It began as a small amateur event but soon grew into a large commercial auto circus catering for automobiles, motorbikes, and trucks; thus it gave birth to other such events. As of 2008, the occasion has been moved to South America.
Contemporary rallies have become a common place for individuals and gamblers as well. It emphasizes speed and attracted the attention of other countries like Scandinavia and Belgium.
